Description
Schlehengeist from the Eifel
The Schlehengeist with an alcohol content of 43% vol. Is one of our finest brandy specialties. Unlike our sloe brandy, the sloes are not mashed for the spirit, but fermented and soaked in neutral alcohol. This deprives the fruit of both its taste and its typical aroma. Full-bodied, pleasantly soft and extremely aromatic in taste, the brandy specialty is a delight for every gourmet.
How do you enjoy the brandy?
For guaranteed enjoyment, you can ideally taste the brandy at a drinking temperature between 15 and 18 degrees. Due to its pleasant, soft finish, the spirit does not leave a burning sensation in the throat and thus qualifies itself for every special occasion without further words. Whether as an aperitif, digestif, as a companion to dinner or in one or the other cocktail, the Schlehengeist is tender and sweet on the palate and leaves a uniquely intense aroma on the nose.
