Erwin has carried on his philosophy of preserving old technology and has restored a steam engine from 1913, returning it to full working order. The steam boiler that supplies the energy for this is also 40 years old and must be preheated for about three hours until the energy needed to power the steam engine is available. For this reason, the steam engine can only be demonstrated in action on short notice using compressed air. The demonstration is particularly well-suited for groups. You can also see the steam engine in action at the Technology Museum.
